OUR COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
This winter it is more important than ever to give yourself and your loved ones a break. Experience the Kristiania in its most private form yet: with a reduced number of rooms and a limited number of guests - for more space, more service, more feel-good factor and last but not least: more safety. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the crowds, in the middle of nature, surrounded by the Austrian Alps breathing the crystal clear mountain air - your very own winter wonderland. And although Lech seems secluded from the rest of the world, world events do not pass us by either. In order for our guests not having to worry, we did so ourselves in advance.

Hygiene & Safety
Cleanliness and hygiene have always been subject to the highest standards at Kristiania. Our housekeeping team has also been specially trained on COVID-19 this winter. As before, the guest rooms and public areas will be thoroughly cleaned and ventilated every day. All surfaces are disinfected several times a day. Even the non-accessible rooms for guests such as the back office or the kitchen are subject to strict hygiene requirements and are checked several times a day by our COVID-19 expert. For personal hygiene, tissue boxes and disinfectant dispensers are set up in all public areas of the hotel. Upon check-in, our guests also receive a personal welcome kit with high-quality mouth and nose protection and vegan organic hand disinfectant for the go.
For the first time ever, only house guests are allowed in the Kristiania Restaurant. This way we can assure our guests that there is sufficient space and the necessary safety distance to other guests at all times. In addition to the restaurant, guests of our 2 bedroom suites also have the option of having us set up a private dining room.
Safety distance of at least 2 meters between placed guests
A maximum of 10 people per table
Service team wears mouth and nose protection
In-room dining and private dining menu
Our Private Seventies Spa is only accessible by reservation. The spa area is reserved exclusively for our house guests. The sauna and hot tub are open, all treatments and massages take place without restrictions. If you wish, you can also enjoy your massage on your room. Or perhaps, how about a bath made especially for you and a good glass of wine?
Aligned to the respective regulations, the ski lifts will be in operation. The following regulations apply during this year's entire winter season:
Mouth and nose protection must be worn in all indoor and winter areas (such as cash desks, lift buildings, etc.). The minimum distance of 1 meter between people outside the household applies everywhere.
The employees of cable cars, gondolas, lifts and ski schools who have customer contact are subjected to COVID19 tests and must wear mouth and nose protection while on duty.
As things stand at the moment, après-ski as we are used to, will not be possible. There must be a safety distance of 1 meter between visitor groups. Food and drinks must be consumed while sitting down, there is no room for standing.
Ski schools reduce the number of participants to a maximum of 10 people per course and group.
As our guest, you can also enjoy the greatest possible comfort on the way to the ski slopes: to avoid queuing, we issue your ski passes directly at the hotel and your ski instructors who have been booked by us will pick you up from the hotel. We recommend private lessons or group lessons for children with a maximum of 4 participants.
This winter our guests have even more options away from the slopes. How about, for example, a snow picnic, a private art tour, a herb hike through the forest or an alpine foot ritual?
The Austrian health system is one of the best in the world by international standards. The government's COVID-19 management is a pioneer worldwide and is still constantly being adapted to the current situation. Of course, we are at our guests' disposal with the latest updates. Visitors of Lech have two general practitioners and the pharmacy in Lech available to them. Both doctors can do daily antigen tests, tests in the hotel are also possible.
